Life Line
 Life Line
Detective Franklin Williams was enjoying his usual Friday night at home with his family watching a movie when his work phone rang. There had been an attempted murder, a man had been shot several times and was clinging to life. That man also happened to be an ex-professional baseball player, a local legend, hometown hero, at least that was what everybody thought, everyone that is except for the person who tried to kill him. That person knew the truth, that Ted Montrose wasn't a hero, he was an evil force that had caused them hurt and robbed them of their normal life, and she would make sure that he would pay for his crime with his life. She had seen it after all in her visions, visions she had been gifted with after the man whom everyone worshipped had raped her so long ago, the mans she considered the devil himself. Now, it was up to Franklin Williams to prevent the person who tried to kill Ted Montrose from following through and finishing the job they started. What he would learn along the way would change his attitude toward the man who had been shot, and the revelations he uncovers would make him even more cynical then before, and an old nemesis would reappear, turning his whole world upside down.
