Renowned research chemist, Dr. Klov and his assistants make a startling discovery. Vocam, the North’s only energy source, is being depleted at an alarming rate. Terrified of the North’s collapse Dr. Klov gathers several of his colleagues and their teams together to tackle the dilemma. After their warnings are dismissed by their leaders the Klovis Group is forced to secretly go into Kepca to search for an energy source that can replace Vocam. Unfortunately, before their research is completed the Western Belt Sectors are attacked by mysterious invaders who are headed towards them.
A guard named Blorzen Skylynn agrees to take the Klovis Group south to his home in Sorsani along with several of the Kepcan families. Not having any other choice they choose to trust him and the others. As they are smuggled out of Kepca they can only wonder about the future. Now they must endure perilous travel to a land they know nothing about and depend on people they don’t know.
